Having started investing in 2015 and transitioning to stock options in 2020, John’s journey into trading sparked when his dad visited, sat on the couch with just a laptop, and made $1,000 in a single day. Hooked immediately, John turned $200 into $9,000 on a GME short squeeze trade. While early success came using the TTM Squeeze indicator, changing market conditions and a desire for a cleaner, simpler process led John to adopt "The Strat" in 2023. By relying on a straightforward system focused on clear entries, stop losses, and targets, consistent daily wins followed. Driven by a passion to teach others and help family members achieve financial freedom, John launched JSmithTrades in 2025, which has since helped thousands of traders become successful.
